Systems Development Manager - Wholesale Banking, Treasury & Enterprise Technology

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project management and system analysis 
• Manage project costs or team spending within budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization or operational efficiency.
• Perform project management functions - manage the full software development life cycle (SDLC) from conception to implementation, and maintenance of systems
• Conduct feasibility study for prospective projects
• Manage external vendors and service providers for solution implementation and maintenance 
• Manage the evaluation of software and hardware products
• Manage the administration of application development team
• Identify and streamline the processes for cost optimization or efficiency uplift.
• Plan and monitor the work of Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Senior Analyst/Programmer, Analyst/Programmer and Programmer
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent; OR
• Preferable over 10 years’ experience in system development covering the following:Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management with cross functional teams and vendors; PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience in large scale project development;
• Experience in banking applications : Human Capital/Resource Management, Workflows, Learning Management, Procurement ERP; Cloud Applications.
• Knowledge in System Development Life Cycle and\or Agile Methodology;
• Experience in banking business and operations;
• Experience in oversee system architecture and technical design from solution evaluation to implementation;
• Experience in cloud, API and microservices technical knowledge. Having legacy modernization experience is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
