Head of A.I. Services - Innovation Office

Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary and technically adept Head of AI Services in Innoviation Office to lead the research, design, and deployment of our AI ecosystem. This role will oversee the creation and integration of AI portal, AI agents, advanced AI models, and communication protocols across both on-premises and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the AI service roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive innovation in AI technologies, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.

Research & Development

• Lead research initiatives in AI/ML, classical AI, and generative AI to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Oversee the design and development of AI portal, AI agents, and models.
• Establish best practices for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Design robust communication protocols for seamless integration across systems.
• Ensure interoperability between on-premises and cloud-based AI environments.
• Champion modular, scalable, and secure architectures for AI services.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering and research team.
• Foster collaboration across product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Implement ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Establish monitoring frameworks for performance, fairness, and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML research, engineering, and product development.
• Proven track record of leading AI initiatives in enterprise-scale environments.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Experience with communication protocols (REST, gRPC, WebSockets, etc.).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of both Chinese and English. Cantonese speaking is a must.
