Officer / Senior Officer, Claims (General Insurance)

Job Purpose:

To effectively manage litigation cases, preventing claims leakage related to both damages and costs. You will formulate robust case strategies to safeguard the company's interests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage legal cases within established guidelines
• Review policies, assess legal liability, determine quantum, and evaluate evidence related to third-party injury claims
• Escalate cases that exceed authority limits or involve unusual claims for managerial approval
• Assess case reserves based on the information available
• Oversee effective file management and ensure proper control of the claims cycle

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the general insurance industry
• Strong understanding of general insurance claims and litigation processes
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent time management and negotiation skills
