Manager/ AVP, bonds and fixed income, Global Financial Markets

Responsibilities

• Handle all bonds and fixed income business activities from retail and corporate channels.

• Determine and quote up-to-the-minute prices and rates to customers.

• Deal independently in bonds and other fixed income securities within the limits set by the management.

• Maintain the growth of the revenue in bonds and fixed income business activities.

• Share market information, analysis, and advice to sales channels.

• Work closely with other related departments in product development.

• Promote relationships with other dealer and brokers in the Bonds market.

• Execute deals in Fixed Income and Debt Securities originated from internal departments and keep positions within authorized limits.

• Work closely with sales channels for primary, secondary bond orders and enquiries.

• Supervise and quote rates to be used in customer transactions.

• Provide relevant comments, advice as well as training session on Treasury products.

• Participate in product development and enhancement for sales channels.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trading or sales of financial market products and fixed income products.

• Graduate in Finance or related discipline, with relevant professional qualification.

• Qualification in ECF is preferred

• Good knowledge of Global Financial Markets operations

• Knowledge of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority / SFC / China Regulatory Commission related issues.
