We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Sustainability Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Become an integral member in shaping and implementing the sustainability strategy.
• Play a key role in sustainability policy, oversight, and content development to continuously enhance Hang Seng Investment Management’s sustainability reputation.
• Assist product and sale teams to help clients achieve their sustainable investment objectives.
• Analysis of latest sustainability trends and regulations.
• Implement sustainability standards and leading best practices including sustainability regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Actively participate in managing stakeholders to achieve sustainable outcomes for the business.
• Actively participate in prioritising deliverables and project management.

Requirements

• Strong curiosity and passion for sustainability in the financial services industry.
• Possess growth mindset and organisational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively, breakdown complex tasks into manageable components, and comfortable presenting to an audience.
• Prior experience with implementing sustainability or sustainable investment frameworks, and sustainability reporting.
• Competent in using ESG data and reporting platforms such as MSCI One, Sustainalytics, and S&P Sustainability Solutions.
• Proficient in using LLM and Generative AI tools to improve productivity.
• Possession of ESG qualifications such as CESGA or CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate.
• Proficient in using Microsoft 365 suite of applications and Chinese language word processing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience from buy-side or sell-side research or technical/research role at a ESG ratings and data products providers.
• University graduate in a business discipline preferably with exposure to sustainable investing/finance.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset
