Responsibilities:

• Responsible for high availability design, capacity planning, monitoring setup, performance tuning, and operation of database systems.
• Responsible for project management and execution including operation automation and database optimization.
• Responsible for feasibility study of new technologies. Suggest improvements for the operation practices, development principles and security compliances.
• Arrange and perform regular technical review of the data storage requirement and planning. Fully understand the data structure of the database systems and capable to pick the best solution.
• Responsible for data backup and disaster recovery. Arrange and perform regular review for the plan.
• Responsible for internal support and training.
• Responsible for supporting an integration of big data platform and relative tasks.
• Responsible for documentation and make sure the information is up to date.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in Oracle, MySQL,TDSql,MongoDB,Redis database administration and maintenance.
• Proficient in Oracle,MySQL,TDSql,MongoDB database setup including configuration, backup, optimization and monitoring.
• Proficient in Oracle,MySQL,TDSql,MongoDB database management including performance tuning and SQL/query programming technique.
• Proficient in Oracle,MySQL,TDSql,MongoDB database high availability approach including data synchronization, data backup and resilience.
• Strong knowledge about database engine design and underlying principles. Capable to apply the knowledges into application design. e.g. DB clustering, data replication, MHA framework, primary/secondary failover, SQL profiling and tuning, and so on.
• Experience in database problem determination and solving. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skill is a must.
• Experience in major cloud DB product. e.g. AWS, AliCloud, HuaweiCloud.
• Experience in DB metrics monitoring and alert system setup.
• Experience in DB cluster design to support high volume usage and concurrency system.
• Experience in open source solutions and IT operation automation could be an advantage.
• Experience in data warehouse, big data and data management could be an advantage.
• Good analytical and creative mind, and be able to work under pressure.
