Dealer - Derivatives & Bonds (Global Financial Markets Department)

Responsibilities: 

• Maintaining the growth of revenue in derivatives products from retail channels as well as bonds sales activities

• Determining and quoting up-to-the-minute prices and rates to customers

• Dealing independently in foreign exchange, FX option, equity option, other derivatives products as well as fixed income securities within the limits set by management

• Promoting relationship with private banking and wealth management department, branches and other related departments

• Promoting relationship with other dealers and brokers in the FX, Derivatives and Bonds market

• Providing market commentary, advice and training on treasury products 

• Preparing relevant reports for analysis and daily monitoring purposes

 Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in business administration, economic or relevant discipline

• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in Treasury, with bond dealing experience will be a plus

• Pass in HKSI (Type 1) an advantage

• Possess TMA membership is an advantage

• Proficient in Words, Excel and Powerpoint

• Strong self-motivation with good business sense and interpersonal skills

• Good communication skills and sound quantitative technique

• Proficient in both English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
