Assistant Vice President, Securities Department

Responsibilities

• Drive business development for global securities and virtual asset products, including identifying, evaluating and executing new business opportunities and partnership initiatives with external parties, institutions and clients

• Liaise with external service providers, custodian banks, law firms, and other partners to design, plan, develop, and implement new processes or enhance the quality of global securities services

• Collaborate with internal and external parties to define business strategies, operational processes, platform designs, contingency arrangements, and other digitalization initiatives

• Liaise with internal parties to manage securities custodian services operations, corporate actions, settlement, etc

• Coordinate and communicate regulatory with other departments such as Legal and Compliance, Risk, Product, IT eyc

• Support marketing plans in coordination with frontline teams, sales and customer segments to achieve goals and targets

• Assist in analyzing and researching market tends to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned   

Requirements

• Degree holder with minimum 5 years' experience in securities, virtual assets, cryptocurrency or related industries preferred

• Strong knowledge of global stock market and digital assets product, with ability in forward-looking market and business analysis

• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel
