Interest Rate Trader

Responsibilities:

• Execute trading activities in interest rates and derivatives to maximize profitability.
• Provide the marketing team with price quotes, market analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Monitor trends and economic indicators affecting interest rates to develop trading strategies.
• Conduct risk analysis and manage trading positions with effective hedging.
• Maintain relationships with clients and communicate market developments.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in interest rate trading or finance.
• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of global financial markets and interest rate products.
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex data and market drivers.
• Attention to Detail: Disciplined and focused on accurate record-keeping and compliance.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
• TMA Membership: Must be a member of the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) or committed to obtaining membership.
