Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Credit Control Services
 

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Lending Manager (Secured Products), reporting to Head of Credit Control Services.

Principal responsibilities

• Ensures a strong and sophisticated underwriting operation function, aligned with standards of expectation
• Accountable for driving underwriting risk mitigation activity through effective implementation and execution of underwriting capabilities and controls
• Takes ownership for leading and directing underwriting actions, priorities and performance to deliver optimum performance, through the development and delivery of customer-centric, sustainable relationship capabilities
• Exercises sound credit judgments on individual cases and appropriate risk-adjusted pricings
• Translates underwriting strategy into priority actions to ensure the delivery of a high quality, professional service to all internal and external customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• University Graduate in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in retail credit area, with 6 years at managerial level
• High proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Ability to communicate effectively, embrace change and overcome challenges
• In depth knowledge of credit risk, particularly in relation to personal financial services 
• Experience of leading a team that delivers results aligned to long term strategic business goals
• High level of influencing skills with the ability to communicate on a diverse range of topics to multiple stakeholders
• Experience working for or with one or more lines of business is desirable
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
