Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to our Retail Banking and Wealth (RB&W) customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment.  Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.
 

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Securities Business Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities
 

• Support end-to-end product governance processes, including product due diligence, review, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
• Assist in managing product lifecycle, including new product initiatives, enhancements, and decommissioning where applicable
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Risk, Compliance, IT, Operations) and external partners (e.g., HKEx, regulators, brokers) to ensure smooth delivery of product initiatives. (e.g., U.S. 5x24 trading, HK T+1 settlement)
• Contribute to strategic projects and market initiatives, including collaboration within Group counterparts
• Conduct portfolio analytics of existing customer base to identify investment trends, behavioural patterns, and opportunities for cross-sell/up-sell
• Provide management with data-driven insights and recommend initiatives to grow customer engagement and revenues in the securities business
• Track and analyse competitor offerings, market trends, and industry developments 
• Support senior management decision-making by preparing market analysis, business cases, and performance tracking reports

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related discipline
• 5 years of relevant experience in securities, investment products, or financial analytics
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools
• Solid understanding of investment products and regulatory environment
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across functions and geographies
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities
