Branch - Assistant Branch Operations & Services Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the branch's daily operations and financial activities are in compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures
• Safeguard customer information and the Bank's properties
• Assist customers and branch personnel in complaint cases
• Motivate and monitor customer referrals and referral quotas achieved by tellers
• Provide customer service and assist the Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Operations Manager in sales-related matters

Requirements

• HKDSE/HKCEE or above, with 5 subjects, including Chinese, English and Mathematics at Level 2/Attained/Grade E or above
• A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience of which 1 year at supervisory level
• Pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
• Pass in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent)
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Pass in the Mandatory Provident Fund (optional)
• Sound knowledge of the retail banking business and operations
• Good interpersonal, communication, sales, and management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage
