Senior Product Manager (Merchant Business, Payment & Cash Management) - Enterprise and Transaction Banking

Position Summary

Responsible for planning, formulation and implementation of new strategies and initiatives on product and system development and service bundling to card merchant acquiring business, and ensuring all operational activities are performed in optimal effectiveness and productivity as well as fully compliance with the Bank’s and authority’s regulations.

Responsibilities

• Achieve section’s key performance indicators and business targets through planning, formulation and implementation of new strategies and initiatives, as well as product and system development and service bundling
• Assist in preparing annual operation plan and ensure its deliverable
• Collect and analyze market intelligence with appropriate recommendations and compile relevant business / sales / MIS or CRM reports
• Provide quality service to merchants and corporates by developing and implementing professional and efficiency operational processes as well as facilitating the best workflow and logistic for cross-selling activities
• Drive for continuous improvement in procedure and operation to improve service quality and productivity
• Monitor, track and evaluate sales activities and ensure high efficiency and productivity of the campaigns as well as full compliance with internal and external regulatory
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity

Requirements

• University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking or related discipline, or other related qualifications
• Over 8 years’ experience in banking sector and with exposure in the card merchant acquiring business
• Knowledge of POS terminal integration and payment gateway platform experience
• Capable of driving projects independently and under pressure
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make sound business decisions
• Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills
• Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
