Relationship Manager (Non-Bank Financial Institutions Department)

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with non-bank FIs, especially investment banks/institutions, and explore business opportunities according to their requirements, develop marketing strategies
• Build up relationship with potential business partners, especially investment bank clients
• Prepare and complete credit risk assessment and credit risk review on non-bank FIs to manage credit lines of any Targets Customers and ensure major credit relations between CMB Wing Lung Bank and Targets Customers are prudent and in full compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Study the Targets Customers requirement and explore market opportunities to initiate the new product development
• Conduct new product due diligence and prepare new product proposal, which include product characteristics, market projection, cost & benefit analysis, risk assessment, procedural manual and detailed operation flow.
• Promote and cross-sell other products of CMBWLB
• Promote CMBWLB’s name by arranging visits, formulating and executing PR functions e.g. seminars, luncheons, receptions etc.
• Coordinate and tackle with the inquiries/ problems raised by internal departments / Targets Customers
• Initiate and coordinate with the related departments on the proposed new product’s compliance, risk assessment and system enhancement
• Coordinate and participate in the integration of systems and operations that interface with product strategy.
• Assessment of Targets Customers in accounts opening and closing to facilitate business flow

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Business or related discipline
• Qualification in ECF is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial industry, preferably in investment banking industry
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• General understanding of the economic, commercial, political and business environment of Chinese region
• Solid relationship building and management skills
• Self-motivated and independent working ability
• Good written and communications skills in English, Putonghua and Cantonese
