We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HASE Infrastructure DevOps team to advise on OS, middleware, database, and cloud technologies across projects and functional areas.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable database architectures that meet availability and performance targets.
• Monitor database health and performance; diagnose and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce database security controls, backup strategies, and disaster-recovery plans.
• Work with application teams to optimize queries, schemas, and data access patterns.
• Triage and resolve database-related support requests from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and routine maintenance with minimal service impact.
• Maintain clear documentation of database configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure solutions meet resilience, sustainability, and recovery time objectives (RTO/RPO).
• Maintain current expertise in relevant tools, cybersecurity practices, and regulations for data privacy, consent, and residency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• DBA certification from Oracle, Microsoft, or another recognized vendor.
• Expertise in one or more database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with database security, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles, with emphasis on service operations.
• Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrates strong ownership.
• Customer‑focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and leadership.

Good to have

• Experience with complementary technologies (middleware, caching/messaging, or major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Spoken Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred. 
• Proven team leadership or technical lead experience.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior role.
