Technical Services Officer - Facilities Management

Responsibilities

  • To prepare, monitor and coordinate requisition, payments and documentations for job orders
  • To communicate with various internal and external customers and vendors
  • To handle requisition and maintenance enquiries
  • To assist supervisors to lead a team of Technical Services Officers/Technical Supervisors/Technicians to provide all-rounded technical services support for a portfolio of Bank properties.
  • To assist in the management of E&M systems and ongoing maintenance / renovation project, including system design, tendering, project administration and cost control etc.
  • To handle the daily maintenance orders received from branch and coordinate with vendors for site works
  • To plan and execute energy saving and environmental protection measures for the Bank’s premises.
  • To upkeep the image of the Bank by ensuring proper maintenance of facilities.
  • To strictly adhere to tendering/procurement stipulation in accordance with the Bank’s requirement
  • To ensure the subordinates comply with the rules and regulated requirements of governing authorities
  • To maintain proper record of all related activities required by the Bank and/or relevant regulatory authorities
  • To handle various ad-hoc assignments as assigned by supervisors
  • To direct and motivate subordinates to perform proper duties and appropriate conduct
  • To arranging adequate resources to support the daily operations
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

 

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in technical or maintenance services cover the following:
  • 3 years’ experience in repair & maintenance services for Building Services Engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of facilities management / property management and able to lead a team to ensure excellent facilities management services provided.
  • Knowledge of the latest technologies for intelligent buildings.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, practices and rules.
  • Strong leadership and problem solution skills.
  • Good planning, organizational and project management skills.
  • Highly independent with ability to interact with multi-cultural teams.
  • A very good team player with good communication skills and risk awareness.
  • Good PC skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
