ED, Head of Wealth Management Platform

Job Objective:

As the Head of Wealth Management Platform in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of DBS's wealth management and private banking platform, with a specific focus on the North Asia market. This role requires a deep understanding of digital wealth management, private banking, customer experience, technology, and regulatory compliance within the North Asia context. You will work closely with Singapore team to co-lead cross-functional teams to enhance the bank’s wealth solutions and ensure seamless digital engagement for clients across the Wealth Continuum.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall strategy for the wealth and private banking platform, ensuring alignment with the bank’s digital and wealth management goals.  Co-lead initiatives and strategy for Wealth Solutions focusing on transforming and enhancing DBS’ capital markets and treasury products for the Wealth Continuum regionally.
• Wealth Platform Innovation: Co-lead the evolution of DBS’s digital wealth and private banking platform by integrating advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and robo-advisory capabilities.  Drive innovation and solutioning for all Capital Markets & Treasury, Distributed Solutions, Insurance (in close partnership with our partners), as well as Wealth Lending/Credit.
• Technology Integration: Work closely with Technology to enhance the platform’s scalability, resiliency, and client-centricity to implement next-generation omni-channel (Online-to-Offline and vice versa) wealth and private solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the platform meets all regulatory requirements and risk management standards
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders as well as external partners to drive strategic initiatives in the wealth and private banking domain.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 12 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, digital banking, or financial technology, with a proven track record in platform development, strategy, implementation, and leadership.
• Industry Knowledge & Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of wealth management products, private banking services, investment advisory, and financial planning solutions.
• Technology Acumen: Familiarity with wealth technology, AI, big data, and digital wealth solutions, including robo-advisory and automated portfolio management.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead large teams and drive cross-functional collaboration effectively.
• Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations in the wealth domain, especially in Hong Kong and North Asia.
