Assistant Fund Accounting Manager - Bank of East Asia (Trustees) Limited

Responsibilities

• Provide effective support to Fund Accounting Manager in daily operational activities
• Check and ensure accuracy for portfolio valuation reports, returns to MPFA and interim / annual financial statements for MPF funds and unit trusts
• Verify accounting records and cash transactions inputted in the system
• Monitor investment restrictions compliance for MPF funds and unit trusts
• Verify and settle fees and expenses
• Liaise with the external auditors for reviewing and filing the Financial Statements
• Perform monthly reconciliation on cash position, securities holdings and portfolio for MPF funds

Requirements

• Diploma holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Obtained ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 4 years’ accounting or audit experience, preferably in fund accounting or fund operation
• Knowledge of MPF regulations and SFC Code is an advantage
• Knowledge of fund operations, valuation and accounting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of HiPortfolio would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Fund Accounting Officer
