Officer Trainee (IT Department)

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain IT project management standards

2. Monitor and conduct review on application development projects to ensure compliance with project life cycle methodology and other internal policies

3. Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for deliverables throughout project life cycle

4. Define quantitative measurement on quality of project and provide management visibility in the course of quality improvement

5. Review, maintain and streamline IT internal control measures and processes

6. Develop and maintain standards and guidelines for application system management and production incident management

7. Conduct regular internal control activities, identify gaps and area of non-compliance, and prepare remediation plan

8. Coordinate internal and external audits activities and monitor audit follow up action status

9. Implement system solutions to automate and increase transparency of internal control activities

Requirements:

1. Educational requirements: Bachelor's degree or above (full-time).

2. Institutional Requirements:

• Hong Kong SAR: Well-known universities and key universities in Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Baptist University.

• Other countries: Top 300 universities in the latest QS World University Rankings, and top 100 universities globally included in the Hong Kong Immigration Department's Top Talent Pass Scheme (https://www.immd.gov.hk/pdf/aggregate_list.pdf).

• Mainland China: 985 universities, 211 universities, and Double First-Class universities.

• Note: Candidates must meet the standards of the institutions corresponding to their respective regions for both their bachelor's and master's degrees.

1. Graduation requirements: Graduation year no earlier than 2023. Recent graduates will be given priority.

2. Work experience required: No more than three years of full-time work experience.

3. Other requirements: Strong professional knowledge, Strong execution ability, and a Strong sense of responsibility.
