Cloud Support Engineer (Information Technology Department)

Responsibilities:

-          Planning, designing, and implementing IT systems across on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.

-          Manage cloud infrastructure including networking, storage, and compute.

-          Provision and configure cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and managed services.

-          Perform regular backups and lead disaster recovery drills.

-          Collaborate with application teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture and deployment.

-          Provide technical support and troubleshooting for services running on cloud infrastructure.

-          Monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to incidents, alerts, and service degradation issues.

-          Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and service restoration.

-          Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment.

-          Provide 24x7 support for production incident.

-          Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, standard procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

-          Degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or industry related disciplines.

-          3+ years of experience in a cloud support role.

-          Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud or multi-cloud platform and architecture (Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Azure).

-          Strong understanding of compliance requirement on public cloud.

-          Good understanding of cloud networking concepts: VPC, NAT Gateway, VPN, SLB, PrivateLink.

-          Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration.

-          Familiar with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Cloud Eye, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

-          Scripting skills in bash/ksh, Python, or PowerShell.

-          Knowledge of containers, orchestration and IaC tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

-          Familiar with cloud security services (e.g., IAM, Cloud Firewall, DDoS Protection, WAF).

-          Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

-          Familiar with ITIL process.
