Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 254 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as Associate Relationship Manager, to undergo a structured training in order to develop a wide-spectrum of retail banking product knowledge and pave way for further career development as Relationship Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to our retail customers in branch network
  • Proactively identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking services and solutions
  • Participate in promotional campaigns to acquire new business and strengthen customer loyalty
  • Maintain awareness of operational risks and adhere to relevant policies and guidelines

Requirements

  • University degree / Associate degree holders; or HKCEE / HKDSE holders
  • Minimum 1 years direct sales experience in banking industry. Applicants from any financial services firm, including insurance or independent financial advisory are welcome
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of working experience from any industry will also be considered.
  • Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications (IIQE Paper 1, 2 and 3 is a must whereas HKSI Paper 1, 7 and 8 is preferred) and fulfil the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Regulator
  • Strong service and sales orientation, self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
  • Ability to manage complex interactions effectively
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
