Assistant/Deputy Head of Commercial Banking

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies and marketing plans for increasing the bank's penetration in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) market.
• Lead SME banking units of the bank and ensure effective coordination with branches and other business units to boost up SME customer base.
• Oversee and ensure smooth operation of SME banking function.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationship with major clients to assess and satisfy their banking needs.
• Monitor proper utilization of credit facilities in SME accounts and maintain the quality of risk assets.
• Coordinate with product, risk and other marketing functions and external partners to achieve the desired goal and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• University degree.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial banking with sufficient expertise in SME sector.
• Require in-depth knowledge of SME banking business and credit policies and standards.
• Good knowledge and skill of commercial banking products and client management.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua.
