Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank, was established in 1984 and is Hong Kong's leading index compiler, covering the mainland China and Hong Kong markets. We calculate and manage the Hang Seng Family of Indexes. Starting in 1969 with the creation of the Hang Seng Index, now widely recognised as the barometer of the Hong Kong stock market, we have been at the forefront of the market, developing numerous market measures to help investors make their investment decisions.

Currently, the Hang Seng Family of Indexes comprises over 2,000 real-time and daily indexes. Going forward, we will continue to broaden our index series to meet the widening spectrum of investor demand for index investment solutions.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as IT Development Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Manage system development projects in the above business areas aligning with the Bank’s project management framework;
• Maintain the high quality of service and deliverable for the critical index business;
• Schedule and deliver system solutions in accordance with relevant business requirements;
• Work closely with software engineers and service providers, to ensure the delivered projects/ solutions can meet the budget, time-line, and quality objectives in alignment with business strategy;
• Provide proactive consultancy to business users in formulating system solutions that can help business to capture revenue growth, improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Proven experience in IT system development and supporting CRM system, preferably for highly critical business;
• Strong track record in collaborating with relevant business units and service providers in project delivery.
• Good understanding on the project management framework;
• Knowledge and application development experiences on Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform preferred;
• Curious, strong analytical and problem solving skill.
• Capable to manage communications effectively including the capacity to articulate technical solutions for business’ understanding
• Strong team spirit, quality oriented and attentive to details;
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese;
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
