The Repulse Bay is seeking for a Director of Events to lead and drive the business of event sales.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement event and catering sales year-round strategy, and tactical initiatives to achieve annual event sales target.
- Be a team leader – Take accountability of all Event Sales matters. Mentor and develop team members to achieve individual sales targets.
- Proactively identify, build and maintain relationship with key partners, new and existing clients and stakeholders to drive new and returned business.
- Regularly provide competitor movements and insightful market trends, and recommend on insightful strategy and build actionable business plans.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Team and actively participate in the development of marketing plan with the aim to achieve business targets.
- Oversee the banquet, events, work with the key department on event set up and ensure The Peninsula standards therein. Be the face of The Repulse Bay Events, liaise between customer and service.
General Requirements
- Degree holder in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B, Event and Catering Sales industry with at least 3 years at management level.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to lead and reinvigorate a seasoned team.
- Strong strategic thinking, able to implement actionable business plan; Good analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and with enthusiasm to meet new clients.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
