Administration Officer - Clearing & Settlement Operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure the departmental administration tasks can be completed by the scheduled timeline, and maintain proper records
• Compile relevant reports as required
• Co-ordinate with relevant parties (both internal and external) to complete the tasks assigned
• Supervise the clerical assistant of the department
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
• Make suggestion on the streamlining of operations procedures

Requirements

• Form 5 or above, with 5 subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above in HKCEE/HKDSE including English, Chinese, and Mathematics or equivalent
• Over 2 years’ experience in office administration cover the following:
• Managing and handling department administration tasks, and maintaining proper records. Banking experience is preferable
• Co-ordination with relevant parties (both internal and external) to complete the tasks assigned
• Multi-tasking and good time management
• Independent, pro-active, and good communication skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable
