Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager in Payment Operations to oversee and enhance our payment processing functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of customer account transactions, assist TEAM head to supervise a dedicated team, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
What you will be doing:
- Check and / or authorize customer accounts transactions (such remittance, intra bank account transfer, FPS )
- Authorize the payment and related entries in bank’s payment system or in SWIFT Alliance
- Assist to direct/supervise the day-to-day work of the dedicated team in Payment Operations
- Review the transaction screening result if applicable
- Communicate to Relationship Managers for confirmation of transaction related matter processed by the team.
- Seek approval from Relationship Managers for payment of O/R transactions
- Deal with complaints and inquiries directed from Customer Care unit.
- Handle the investigation on irregular items
- Provide training to the junior in the team
- Arrange the administration matter (such as retrieval of transactions record ) for customer’s enquiries.
What we are looking for:
- Higher Education graduates or above
- Knowledge in supervisory management and familiar with Remittance operational procedures, bank policies
- 5 years’ banking experience in Remittance
- Courtesy, responsible, reliable
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin. Experience in handling customer enquiries is preferrable
