About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Exceptional Experience Centre in Hong Kong, the Telecommunications Officer is responsible for performing the technical operations of the PABX equipment & restaurant reservation system and always delivers quality services to our guests in line with the company standards. The Telecommunications Officer reports to the Rooms Division with a dotted line to F&B Division.

As Telecommunications Officer , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Answer guest telephone enquiries in a professional and efficient manner and offer assistance to guests
• Work and communicate closely with other departments in replying guests enquiries
• Operate the switchboard according to policies and procedures set by Exceptional Experience Manager

As Telecommunications Officer , we expect from you:

• Diploma graduate in Hospitality or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year guest services experiences in hospitality industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English and Chinese; Putonghua will be an advantage
• Willing to work shift duty
