Main Responsibilities

Lead a team to research on global macroeconomics, FX, equities, fixed income and commodities markets

Collaborate and synergize with counterparts in other locations and divisions

Direct the construction of the house view and asset allocation strategies across Private Banking, Consumer Banking and Corporate Wealth Management segments

Recommend bank-wide strategy for a long term growth of investment businesses

Review the appositeness of the Bank's investment products suite across various segments in light of market practices, industry trends and latest investment themes

Provide timely investment outlook, strategy and market commentaries to support frontline on overall advisory to customers

Manage the publication and dissemination of research materials
Requirements
-
University degree in finance, economics or related discipline

Professional qualification in finance (such as CFA, CPWP, CFP) or other comparable qualification

Minimum 15 years of research, analyst or asset management experience in leading banks or financial institutions, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Deep knowledge of global and local markets of different asset classes and investment products

Familiar with China's economy and policies

Excellent and persuasive writing and presentation skills

Competent in public presentation and conduct briefing to frontlines

Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese) and English

Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

A critical thinker willing to challenge mainstream views
