Fund Settlement Manager - Bank of East Asia (Trustees) Limited

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation transactions for Unit Trust funds and ORSO schemes; and
• Monitor the compliance matters related to the operations of trust business ; and
• Monitor and regularly update and review CRS/AEOI/FATCA procedures and guidelines ; and
• Monitor the investment portfolio including reconciliation of securities holdings and investment pricing of unit trusts; and
• Review monthly members’ contributions/redemptions and entitlement for ORSO schemes; and
• Ensure the members’ records are kept updated for ORSO schemes; and
• Review annual statements and ensure the annual returns and financial statements for Unit Trust and ORSO schemes are submitted on time

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably major in business, finance or accounting
• Preferable over 5 years’ experience in fund settlement and operations covering the following:
• At least 3 years’ experience in supervision level in fund settlement and operations
• Knowledge of MPF investment regulations and SFC Code
• Recognition of RA 13 license is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in trust administration, operational procedures and internal controls, 
• Solid understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements including KYC, CDD, CRS, AEOI and FATCA would be a plus
• Relevant banking experience or regulatory compliance qualification such as HKIB ECF qualifications would be an advantage
• Strong communication, analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
