AVP, Underwriting - Chong Hing Insurance Company Limited

Responsibilities:

• Handle underwriting assessments and provide excellent service to Business Development channels
• Manage quotations and renewal notices with Policy Administration team timely in compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, policies & procedures
• Assist Section Head to maintain daily operation of Underwriting Team
• Assist Section Head to strengthen risk management and maintain a profitable business portfolio
• Streamline the existing workflow and procedures to assure higher efficiency
• Perform data analysis and prepare reports for performance monitoring
• Participate in relevant projects and implement underwriting initiatives or campaigns

Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in business related disciplines / insurance studies
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in general insurance industry
• Professional qualification such as ACII, ANZIIF will be an advantage
• Well organized, work independently and able to work ahead of deadline
• Good team player with positive attitude and self-motivated
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
