Senior Manager, Bank Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational function within the Bank including the teams in Bills, Payment and Treasury Settlement, Card operations, Loan Administration, Branch Operation Support, SID to ensure daily operations are efficient, effective and  comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Implement effective internal controls to ensure compliance and smooth operational workflow, identify and mitigate operational risks and enhance customer satisfaction along the service chain
• Develop and review operating procedures and guidelines, and continuously optimize processes to drive operational excellence
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support the Bank’s new initiatives and expansion plan of the Group
• Manage project plans for operation reengineering and system enhancements, including the development of system requirements, User Acceptance Test (UAT), system implementation, and assessment of project effectiveness
• Consolidate and prepare regular departmental reports and adhoc reports for management review
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes to ensure the implantation of best market practice
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Operational Management or a related discipline
• 10+ years of operational management experience in banking industry
• In-depth knowledge of operational management and regulatory requirements in Macau
• Experience in managing diverse teams with exceptional leadership and influence skills
• Demonstrates agile mindset, embrace changes and demonstrates flexibility and capability in decision-making and problem-solving
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management skills and project management skills, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Detail minded with strong hands-on experience in operation, system implementation and procedures development
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Frequent travel to Macau / Station in Macau upon work visa valid
