About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Security in Hong Kong, the Security Officer is responsible for completing responsibilities for both hotels as needed: Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental under the shared services arrangement. The Security Officer reports to the Security Manager / Assistant Security Manager.

As Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform Hotel security daily duties such as access control, regular patrol and incident handling
• Monitor CCTV, Perimeter-Alarm System, and Fire Life Safety System
• Perform daily administration of hotel's key control program
• Perform the lobby duty
• Respond to all accidents and assist guests / staffs during emergency situations
• Protect and safeguard all guests and staffs, their belongings and all hotel assets
• Support and comply regular safety audits and reviews respectively

As Security Officer, we expect from you:

• Form 5 or above
• At least 1-2 years related working experience
• Fluent in Cantonese, and basic English & Mandarin
• Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit
• Holder of First Aid, CPR and AED Training is an advantage
• Knowledge of CCTV, BMS & AFA systems
• Experienced in report writing and in carrying out investigations
• Honest, Self-motivated and Responsible
• Shift duty is required
