AVP, Banks Onboarding (Bank Financial Institutions)

Responsibilities

• Set up correspondent banking relationship and banking relationship with customer banks and non-customer banks
• Perform KYC review on respondent banks, customer banks and non-customer banks
• Assist the annual update on Operation Manual of the Department
• Assist the set-up and maintenance of nostro accounts with correspondent banks for settlement purposes
• Answer to enquiries (such as KYC, RFI, etc.) received from respondent banks, customer banks and non-customer banks
• Act as the contact point for negotiating ISDA , GMRA, CDEA and related agreements with counterparties
• Assist to submit regular or ad hoc operation / regulatory reports to relevant internal parties or regulators
• Carry out other AML issues
• Provide support to the administrative tasks of the unit as assigned

Requirements

• University graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of AML due diligence related experience in banks
• Holder of Certification of HKMA’s Enhanced Competency Framework ECF / Associate AML Professional (AAMLP) is preferred
• Strong business acumen and able to work independently
• Proficiency in both spoken and written in English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
