Assistant Vice President/ Vice President, Wealth Management Settlement

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of operational activities of the wealth management settlement to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operation;
• Lead the team to process investment orders, securities settlement, transfer and corporate actions;
• Work closely and coordinate with inter-departments related to Settlement business in compliance with bank policies and internal guidelines;
• Enhance current workflow, streamline operation and ensure overall operational risk of the department is properly identified;
• Provide adequate information, control and training for the prevention of money laundering and suspicious transactions to team members ensuring to comply with bank regulatory and internal requirement;
• Participate in UATs and coach staff members for new products operation to ensure the smooth operation; and
• Perform other ad hoc projects or assignments.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines;
• Minimum 6 - 8 years’ working experience in managing wealth products operations experiences would be an advantage;
• Sound knowledge & skills on project & team management, custodian services, good communication skills with brokers, business and internal parties;
• Knowledge on EC Invest, MorningStar, CCASS, RTGS and SWIFT
• Comprehensive knowledge on HKEX, SFC, HKMA regulatory requirement related to wealth management products;
• Set up effective controls to ensure the overall risk addressed and managed properly;
• Good communication and strong leadership skills and 
• Well-versed in spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua would be an advantage.
