Placement Trainee (Operations)

We are looking for high-calibre individuals to join the Operations (Ops) Department for serving the HKMC Group. He/she will have the opportunity to acquire valuable on-the-job exposure to various Ops functions, as well as training and learning opportunities for his/her career development in the Ops field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform loan origination duties including review of loan application documents, process of loan disbursement and collaborate with the relevant departments and handling solicitors to facilitate a smooth drawdown process;
• Perform loan administration and enforcement duties;
• Liaise with and monitor the performance of appointed servicers and agents;
• Prepare management statistics and reports; and
• Provide support on ad hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

• Preferably undergraduate students from Finance, Business Administration or related discipline graduating in 2025, 2026 and 2027, current years graduates looking for job exposure for career planning or before they pursue post-graduate studies are also welcome;
• Proficient with MS Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Access;
• Be fluent in English and Cantonese, however knowledge of Mandarin would be an advantage;
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills; and
• Self-driven with ability to work in a team managing projects, regularly sharing work and updates, actively seeking out feedback and willingness to taking direction.
