Position Summary and Objective

• The role mainly focus on Business Data Analysis by building robust data pipelines to support the bank’s reporting and analytics requirements.
• Through the in-depth analysis across different spectrum of business data, figure out problem points, risk points, opportunity points, and by using the data to support bank’s internal control.
   

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver a spectrum of data services, including data analysis, visualization, generating insights, data pipelining, etc.
• Translate actionable insights by thorough study the key risks and the data elements
• To develop and enhance of data management practices, data processing and analytic workflows
• Prepare and maintain technical specification and documentation
• Establish data source connection with internal stakeholders
• Establish automated dashboards and report
• Perform ad-hoc tasks related to data as assigned
   

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of experience direct related in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, MIS, and/or IT system development.
• Hands-on experience in implementing risk-related data solutions using computing tools for data analytic tasks (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
• Ability to obtain data and analyze it to identify insights and opportunities
• Experience in Big Data Platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, VBA is an advantage
• Experience in coding SAS, SQL, Python, etc. is an advantage
• Production experience in line or base maintenance is an advantage
• Good command of English, Chinese (Cantonese), both spoken and written
