Responsibilities

Work closely with Client Services team of Transaction Banking to support Corporate Trust and Loans Agency transactions

Responsible for the smooth operations and control of the CTA team including the daily operations of Loans & Bond Agency, Escrow and Account Bank, Common Depository

Promptly respond to queries from counter party and provide solutions to issues encountered by the operation teams
-
Ensure the completeness and correctness of the back-office operations are comply with HKMA/Regulatory standards and internal approved P&P
-
Establish and implement proper internal controls and procedures for managing operational risks; and prepare operational risks control reports for management review

Conduct and prepare management reports

Formulate and review operational policies & procedures, ensure enforcement and adherence to the bank’s guidelines and regulatory requirement.
Requirements
-
Degree holder or above with good business acumen
-
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with strong product knowledge in CTLA with minimum 3 years at supervisory / checker level

Good knowledge on market best practice; familiar with the loan agency process as well as the settlement & clearing process with ICSD (Euroclear and Clearstream) / CMU and other Clearing Houses

Capable to lead, drive and deliver projects relating to Transaction Banking / CTLA business

Self-motivated, independent with communication & interpersonal skills to cultivate and build strong team work; able to negotiate, persuade, & influence for desirable results

Customer-Oriented, detail-minded, presentable and professional team leader

Strong drive and commitment, hardworking, excellent ability in problem solving, perform under pressure and deliver on schedule

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new environment / platforms for the business as required

Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua

Proficient in VBA and Excel Marco would be an advantage
