Vice President / Assistant Vice President, Training & Talent Management

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Corporate Banking Training Section
• Formulate, plan and deploy training initiatives and projects in alignment with the Bank's business goals and direction
• Partner with Division / Department Heads, and offer consultancy and advice for learning solutions
• Keep abreast of the latest Continuous Professional Training (CPT) / Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, offer effective learning solutions and monitor the fulfillment status of all relevant individuals
• Monitor the fulfilment of continuing professional development requirements under the industry-wide Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF)
• Manage compliance and risk management training initiatives to facilitate employee’s fulfillment of regulatory requirements
• Source and work with external training vendors in providing training solutions based on the identified needs
• Manage Staff Education Sponsorship Scheme
• Manage training administration team to provide necessary support to training initiatives
• Support other training projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with at least 7-10 years of work experience gained preferably from the Banking and Financial Services Industry and Learning and Development
• Knowledge of banking products and services, preferably in Corporate and Commercial Banking, would be an advantage
• Good understanding of the regulatory requirements on continuing professional development training and development
• Strong sense of ownership, competent and proactive in stakeholder management, organization and execution
• Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in written English and Chinese. Putonghua would be an advantage
