About the role:
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Commis Chef to join our culinary team in creating a memorable dining experience for our Members. In partnership with our Executive Chef Gregor Streun, you will help bring our bold culinary concepts to life with creative flair and impeccable technical skill. This is a unique role in a global brand development journey offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of an exciting project in Hong Kong – and we’d love to have you on-board!
What you need to have:
- A proven track record in kitchen operations management in a similar capacity
- First-rate understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, operational equipment and processes
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, positive attitude, with the ability to work independently
- A genuine desire to continue developing your skills and knowledge, with a strong enthusiasm about hospitality
What you will do:
- Work closely with the culinary team to execute an unrivalled food & beverage experience, from raw ingredients to final dish
- Receive and verify ingredient deliveries to ensure top quality
- Take inventory of kitchen supplies and flag low or depleted supplies, as appropriate
- Establish and reinforce sanitation standards for the kitchen in alignment with HACCP/ISO22000 requirements
