About the role:
It’s no secret that an exceptional culinary team will be a key ingredient to our success, so we’re looking for a passionate chef to join us as Chef de Partie. Covering everything from vegetables, meat and fish, right through to pastry and sauces, you will help bring our bold culinary concepts to life. This is a unique role in a global brand development journey offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of an exciting pre-opening project in Hong Kong – and we’d love to have you on-board!
What you need to have:
- Knowledge and hands on experience in multi-sections at Kitchen
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes to execute
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - building a good rapport with your team
- Genuine passion to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
What you will do:
- Excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs within budget
- Ensure food handling and hygiene regulations are in alignment with HACCP/ISO22000 requirements
- Work closely with Sous Chef and culinary team to execute food production - from raw materials to ready-made food
- Organize and set up the assigned section of the Kitchen and manage team to maximize productivity
- Develop the culinary skills and effectiveness of all junior chefs through the training, coaching and mentoring - recognize their strengths and reach their potentials!
- Vital to establish and maintain effective inter-departmental working relationships
