Manage the production of routine GBA business performance packs.

Conduct competitor benchmarking and market landscape analysis on an ongoing basis.

Business
-
Lead monthly GBA business review decks’ production process, including financial performance, forecasting, commentary, and distribution. Maintain and track historical GBA performance.

Coordinate with business and support function partners to drive annual GBA budgeting exercise.

Work with business and support functions closely to develop overall GBA strategy, subject to periodic reviews and refreshes.

Work with business and support function leads to drive GBA-specific initiatives.
-
Engage Finance and business partners proactively to understand business momentum and key issues.
-
Stay on top of market and competitor development in GBA and provide fresh perspectives on opportunities and challenges.

Closely track relevant policy and regulatory development in both China and HK; analyze new policies, identify business implications, and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Identify strategic opportunities and develop the GBA value proposition, including:

Supporting CVP development to capture the evolving client needs under the changing market landscape in GBA

Maximizing the network, partnership and servicing platform
-
Provide insights into product, technology and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration.

Provide project management support, managing timeline and deliverables, monitor project scope.
-
Identify frontline pain points, playing an active role to identify obstacles and troubleshoot issues by pulling together relevant parties.
Processes

Drive continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of systems and processes.

Support the framework for effective management of operational risks across the Business and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations at a global level.

Support the execution of Business strategy in a safe and well-controlled manner and on an end-to-end basis – incorporating infrastructure requirements and ensuring that they are fit-for-growth.

Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure a consistent product delivery across the businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management

Ensure there are appropriate frameworks in place to guarantee that business is carried out within the Group’s risk appetite and relevant risks are appropriately managed in conjunction with management, direct reports and other stakeholders.

Provide support across the Businesses, and through working in conjunction with management team members, ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance standards and practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.

Abide by the Group’s values and code of conduct and foster a robust culture to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees.

Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant superiors and/or Risk Committees.
