Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a card operations team with 14 staff to support dispute handling of card issuing and merchant acquiring business
  • Process data capturing of financial transactions from card issuing and merchant acquiring business
  • Support card association settlement reconciliation and journal entries posting
  • Handle GLAO reconciliation
  • Seize the opportunity to improve either in process redesign, streamlining and / or through system automation
  • Participate in project / initiative implementation
  • Adhere, provide guideline and ensure the staff / department comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the bank, MAS, HKMA pertaining to the operations
  • Cultivate the mindset of members with particulars emphasize on cost effectiveness, customer service oriented and operational controls

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree Holder with minimum 12 years’ in card operations processing for consumer banking products/services experience and at least 8 years’ in managerial position
  • Good knowledge of consumer banking products including credit card, loan and banking products as well as consumer /commercial laws and related regulatory rules that impact consumer products
  • Professional qualifications in Banking (e.g. AHKIB) an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills and cross-team collaboration
  • Strong Project management skills
  • High sense of risk awareness and react quickly to mitigate risk
  • Results oriented and proactive to seek improvement on productivity and operations quality
  • Proficiency in spoken / writing skills in both English and Chinese
