Senior Manager / Manager, Secured Credit Approval, RCAA

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and approve RBG’s secured loan applications in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies and guidelines together with external regulatory requirements
• Perform additional searches such as land/company or employment search in case the information provided by AO is insufficient or doubtful
• Process and approve RBG’s secured loans within service pledge
• Liaise with internal departments such as CFD and Loan Administration. And external business partners  such as Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation and appointed surveyor firms to resolve issue during approval and drawdown stages
• Participate in  ad-hoc projects related to credit or compliance.  For example,  UAT and loan file review for mortgage sale to HKMC

Requirements:

• University graduate or above in any discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ credit approval experience in consumer property mortgage
•  Familiar with relevant policies and procedures of a Bank as well as regulatory requirements of property mortgage
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and play a proactive role in initiating the improvement of credit process flow
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure is essential
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• PC proficient. Exposure in system development is an advantage
