To provide advice to business teams and operation teams of the bank in relation to legal risks and documentation matters
To manage loan transactions and liaise with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders for the negotiation of loan transaction documents.
To prepare and review documents and provide legal support in relation to new financial products and services.
To periodically review and update standard agreements and forms of the bank.
To handle any special projects as assigned by the management.
To conduct legal research and perform any ad-hoc or administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Degree in law with more than 2 years of experience working as paralegal or legal counsel in a sizable law firm or legal department of a financial institution.
Good stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing.
Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Well organised, strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure.
Self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and independently.
Relevant experience in drafting and preparation of legal documentations for private banking would be an advantage.
