Lead and manage a business development team to achieve targeted growth and KPIs by focusing on new client on boarding and new business acquisition.
Act as a change agent to strengthen sales culture through leading business initiatives supporting new business development of Commercial Banking
Prepare and recommend Credit Propositions (“CP”), Credit Reviews (“CR”), Credit Memos and similar documents for approval by relevant business and credit authorities.
Maintain close, regular contact with clients through visitations (within or outside of Hong Kong) or other means, and prepare Call Reports to keep relevant parties abreast of developments.
Maintain a high quality of loan portfolio and exercise prudent credit assessment
Ensure that terms and conditions of credit approval are adhered to at all times and, in the event of non-adherence, arrange for approval or waivers by suitable authorities, if appropriate.
Cross-sell the full range of the Bank Group’s products, in collaboration with relevant business or product partners and in line with prevailing strategies such that revenue is maximized.
Manage Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“CFT”) and sanction related risks in accordance with prevailing policies and procedures. Review and endorse AML, CFT and sanction risk related submissions prepared by SRMs / RMs / RAs.
Contribute to the maintenance of satisfactory compliance standards, in collaboration with the Bank’s Compliance Department.
Maintain satisfactory customer service and ensure that complaints, if any, are properly recorded and addressed.
Requirements
University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related disciplines, with professional qualification such as ACCA or CFA preferred
Possess 8-10 years of commercial/corporate banking experiences
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Sales oriented with solid credit analysis knowledge
