Manager - Settlement Department

Responsibilities:

• Validate and settle FXMM, Fixed Income and Derivatives transactions and handle all related documents;
• Perform daily liquidity management (e.g. RTGS Intraday liquidity, Nostro Banks Funding, etc);
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and work closely with Treasury for funding arrangement;
• Assist in preparing and validating fund transfer payment instruction via K+TP or Swift Alliance system and
• ledger input through Bills System;
• Process CCP settlement, and HKTR reporting operation;
• Perform daily workflow of margin collateral; and proceed AML checking via SAS;
• Assist on day-end payment reconciliation;
• Provide knowledge transfer, training and coaching; and
• Ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in Business, HKDSE or HKCEE;
• 5 - 6 years’ experience in banks, related to treasury and markets products;
• Experience on CMU, RTGS and SWIFT system processing;
• Good product knowledge of fixed income and derivatives products;
• Strong sense on risk & regulatory control;
• With positive mindset to accept changes in order to achieve effectiveness and efficiency;
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese; and
• Conversant with MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing.
