Manager/Assistant Manager, Business & Risk Analytics, Retail Credit Approval

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development, implementation, validation and enhancements of credit risk analytics tools to Retail Banking Group “RBG”. This would include IFRS 9 ECL models and internal credit scorecards for the purpose of risk quantification, internal risk management and regulatory compliance
• Prepare regular MIS reports for acquisition and portfolio monitoring purpose, to support the automation and enhancement for the on-going process
• Perform ad-hoc quantitative analysis on all products under RBG to identify key risk areas and provide/recommend solution(s) to mitigate credit risk
• Conduct regular acquisition and portfolio performance review on new product/program, and portfolio risk analysis for all products under RBG aiming at refining credit policy/guidelines and improving efficiency / effectiveness of business/marketing programs
• Participate in credit system project development, credit rule setting, user acceptance test and subsequent post implementation validation
• Responsible for all the processes (including deleting, modifying & maintaining etc.) of user profile in TU application
• Maintain and monitor the mini data mart server to ensure the procedures of user profile creation/ deletion are complied with internal control procedure and guidelines

Requirements:

• University degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management Science, Statistics or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer credit risk management area and with knowledge in risk modeling of consumer bank lending products. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
• Proficiency in using analytical/ statistical package and programming language such as SAS, Enterprise Miner, SQL, MS Excel/ Access, VBA and MS Office
• Knowledge of score modeling, CRST, Basel III requirements, Python is an advantage
• Strong analytical mind and business sense
• Excellent report writing skill in English and Chinese
• Good communication, presentation, analytical and project management skills
