Responsibilities:

Acting as primary transaction manager of new and existing corporate trust and loan agency transactions, including loans, bonds, custody, escrow and account bank transactions

Working with clients, their advisors and other market participants to develop transaction structures and prepare proposals

Negotiating transaction documents, focusing on the roles of trustee, agent, custodian and account bank and ensuring compliance with internal approvals and processes

Dealing with all client enquiries and working proactively with clients to ensure smooth and premium service for assigned transactions

Working collaboratively with other teams top provide ongoing transaction management services
-
Liaising with other internal business units, market participants and industry groups to set market standard and best practice - especially in relation to default management and fiduciary responsibilities

Coordinating with risk management, legal, compliance and other internal teams to ensure compliance with internal bank policies

Fulfilling additional duties and tasks as required to support the team, assist business growth and drive expansion
Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in legal or business related discipline
-
2 years or more of debt markets experience gained in a financial institution, trustee house or law firm

Previous corporate trust and loan agency expertise is preferred

Good time management skills and ability to prioritise and work to tight timeframes

Ability to review and make recommendations on transaction legal documentation and liaise with legal counsel

Good attention to detail

Strong written/ verbal communication skills and analytical skills

Ability to handle multiple transactions/matters simultaneously and prioritise accordingly

Client-focused; pro-active with flexible attitude

Team player with a sense of responsibility and good team skills
