We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Global Markets as Senior Regulatory Change Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Lead global regulatory change projects and ensure on-going adherence;
- Conduct impact analysis on new regulations from global and local regulators;
- Design procedures and internal control work flow to fulfill Group’s and regulatory requirements;
- Implement new processes, procedures & controls across the markets front office;
- Provide training to markets front office on new regulatory requirement, processes and controls;
- Manage the provision of specialist risk and control knowledge, leading efforts to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk for the supported remit area (Equities, Fixed Income);
- Act as trusted advisor for the senior management of the supported remit area on how to properly manage their operational risk and all items related (Risk assessments, Control environment, Issues management);
- Provide advice in control perspective for various workgroup and projects such as new business and product initiatives for the supported remit area;
- Ensure the risk and control environment are aligned with the relevant polices required by the bank / regulators;
- Facilitate risk and control assessments which identify the key risks, their impact and the relevant controls;
- Implement effective risk and control monitoring programmes based on areas of key risks
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications;
- Minimum ten years of working experience in the Banking industry, preferably with good compliance or change management; experience in driving global regulatory project preferred;
- Preferably with experience in risk and control areas for Equities products (e.g. Equity Financing), Fixed Income products (e.g. bonds);
- Acquires ‘Advance Certificate for ECF on Operational Risk Management’ or above will be an advantage;
- Good in managing communications, high connectivity;
- Creative, curious and attention to details;
- Resilient, capable to work effectively and responsibly in a dynamic environment;
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage;
- Great sense of ownership and serving mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer services processes;
- Strong problem solving and prioritization skills and be able to perform multitasks under pressure;
- Excellent team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude and ability to think and act independently
