Assistant Catering Sales Manager (Wedding Specialist)

Reporting to the Senior Director – Events, Conference & Special Projects, the Assistant Sales Manager is one of the leads in the team to be an enabler to deliver Mira way unique and exemplary services to the clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet individual sales target approved by the management
  • Maximize function space utilization in order to maximize the potential revenue
  • Qualify any business potential for the department
  • Arrange entertainments with guests
  • Initiate repeated bookings with existing clients

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma or above in hotel for catering studies or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in catering sales, preferably in hotel
  • Sales-orientated, sociable and outgoing personality with good communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and be good team player
  • Strong business sense and service oriented
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Hands-on knowledge in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
